Thunder Ball Grotto

Here you would experience one of the most exciting snorkelling destinations ever! Located just west of Staniel Cay, this fantastic underwater cave system is great for snorkeling, diving and wading. The James Bond movie Thunderball was filmed here as well as Never Say Never Again, Splash starring Tom Hanks and Into the Blue with Jessica Alba and Paul Walker.It is teeming with exotic marine life and a kaleidoscope of brilliantly colored coral reefs and fish, like yellow tail snappers, angel fsh, sergeant majors and the like. The grottto's mystique is heightened by the small, almost hidden entrance. It is advised to enter at ebb tide (low or slack tide) and snorkeling equipment is optional. At high tide, however, diving equipment is necessary.

Compass Cay

Compass Cay is located midway up the exquisite string of islands known as the Exuma Cays.So while a compass cay swim with sharks tour is what draws most people here, you'll be sure to fnd yourself surronded by some of the world's most  beautiful landscapes. In fact, the Compass Cay marina is where all the action takes place, and just so happens to be one of the most picturesque parts of the island. With a large sand bank around the marina, you will find yourself in pure turquoise watered paradise. 

Naturally ,the Compass Cay swim with sharks experience is entirely at your own risk.The sharks here are wild animals and while the owners of the Compass Cay marina think of the sharks as pets, you would be wise to exercise caution. That being said, these creatures are mostly harmless, and as long as you don't provoke them, or try to feed them, you'll be safe.

Allen's Cay

Allen's Cay is home to some wild, but docle and friendly iguanas. They're a popular attraction and here is everything you should know before visiting them. 

1. They're only found on Exuma. Their technical name is the Northern Bahamian rock iguanas but most people refer to them as Allen's Cay iguanas or the Exuma iguanas.

2. They're endangered. They are considered to be one of the world's most endangered lizards.

3. They can get big & old. They have the potential to reach 24 pounds and estimated to live up to 40 years.

4. Don't feed  them just anything. Limit to only fruits & vegetables. They can't digest sand well so it could harm them. 

5. They are friendly and welcoming to visitors who bring tham gifts of vegetables and other goodies.

Pig Beach, Big Major Cay

The swimming pigs are probably the most famous attraction in the xumas. Have the experience of feeding them or taking a close up photo. In recent years, the famous swimming pigs have been visited by celebrities such as Gabrielle Union and Amy Schumer, and they even appeared on an episode of the Bachelor.The island of Big Major Cay is uninhabited by people, that is. Today about 20 pigs and piglets call the island home. In fact, the area s informally known as Pig Island or ig Beach, for obvious reasons! Pig Beach is located in a secton of Bahamian islands known as the Exumas, an archipelago of 365 cays and islands beginning just 35 miles southeast of Nassau. 

Regardless of how the swimming pigs arrived, they've figured out how to survive on Pig Beach and they're now a major part of the Bahamas' ecotourism scene. Today, when boats arrive at Pig Beach, the pigs swim out to meet them in hopes that they'll be fed.

Castaway Cay

Castaway Cay is a private island in the Bahamas which serves as an exclusive port for the Disney Cruise Line ships. It is located near Great Abaco Island and was formerly known as Gorda Cay. In 1997, The Walt Disney Company purchased a 99-year land lease for the cay from the Bahamian government, set to expire in 2096, giving the company substantial control over the island.

Harbour Island

Harbour Island lies just northwest of Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas. It's known for the long pink sand beaches stretching along its eastern shore. The west coast also has beaches and several marinas. Outlying coral reefs like the Devil's Backbone are home to marine life such as stingrays and turtles. The main hub, Dunmore Town, features pastel houses like the 1797 Loyalist Cottage.

Paradise Island

Paradise Island sits just offshore from the island of New Providence in the Bahamas. Two bridges connect to the city of Nassau, over Nassau Harbour. White-sand beaches include popular Cabbage Beach and Paradise Beach, both edging on the Atlantic Ocean. Dominating the island is the sprawling Atlantis resort, complete with a casino, the Aquaventure water park, and an extensive marine habitat.
